Author's Note: From his Hollertronix days to Favela on Blast all the way to his collabs with the likes of Beyoncé and Justin Bieber, Diplo has been a force in my life for over a decade. I wanted to play around with the electro-reggae-dancehall soundscape of his Major Lazer side project...De Deh Jafrican Zumbi Riddim began as a personal exercise in Major Lazer mimicry and turned into something I was actually quite proud of and ended up releasing. It's some of the most fun I've had mixing.
